I believe many foreign know Jogjakarta or maybe you
had visited too. Most of the tourist here learn the Jogjakarta’s culture because it is well known
for its high culture. The people of Jogjakarta
is very polite and have a low voice. It has wayang and Pandawa Lima as its
story.
One place that you have to visit
is Borobudur and Malioboro. Borobudur
used to be as the world wonder. It is from Buddhist kingdom which had ruled the
middle Java for about hundred years ago. Even Richard Gere had visited Borobudur in the early morning to meditate. The natural
surrounding is very beautiful place to admire. It can release your stress when
you visit it. But one thing that you have to keep on mind don’t visit it at
noon because it is very hot there. It is great if you visit it in the morning
or afternoon.
Don’t miss ride Becak when you go
to Malioboro. Becak is a traditional vehicle in Jogjakarta. It looks like rickshaw in China. But the
driver ride behind the passenger. Ride around Jogjakarta is a exact choice to see and enjoy
the surroundings. At evening, the edge of the street would filled by the seller
from food to accessories, and you will be entertain by many arts like
traditional singer or local painter. Almost all the food seller sold Gudeg. It
is one of the famoust food there. You can try Krecek which is hot and spicy to
match the sweet taste of Gudeg. There is Tempe Bacem and sweet or hot egss to
add the various of the food.
